A database of indicators on income distribution, inequality, poverty, tax rates, work incentives and the impact of tax and benefit policies on disposable income. EUROMOD Indicators are calculated for all EU Member States using EUROMOD version J1.0+, running on best-match datasets. Statistics produced with older versions of EUROMOD can be found in the archive.
Disclaimer: The EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) and EUROMOD are two key tools for analysing tax and benefit systems across the EU. EU-SILC is used by Eurostat to produce official indicators on income poverty, inequality and the distribution of income across households. These indicators, among others, are also computed using EUROMOD and offered on this webpage. However, despite EUROMOD using EU-SILC data as its primary input, the indicators derived from the two sources may yield different results. For detailed explanations about these discrepancies and their underlying causes, please see this summary . Please also note that EUROMOD indicators have not been verified with national authorities.
Citation: These indicators may be used on the condition that the source of the information is properly mentioned in any publication in which they are quoted, as follows: EUROMOD Indicators, accessed at https://euromod-web.jrc.ec.europa.eu/resources/indicators using EUROMOD version J1.0+.
