Technical session on the EUROMOD Hypothetical Household Tool (HHoT)

We are glad to announce an online technical session on the EUROMOD Hypothetical Household Tool (HHoT) that will take place on Wednesday November 3rd 10:00-11:00 (CET).

The Hypothetical Household Tool (HHoT) is a EUROMOD plugin for designing hypothetical households and generating data according to the chosen household characteristics. This hypothetical household data can then be used to estimate the effects of taxes and benefits on household disposable income, by normally running EUROMOD systems. This allows users to better understand how policies work for households with specific characteristics, while giving them full control over the characteristics of interest. The flexibility of the tool allows users to specify a broad spectrum of different hypothetical households. The built-in Statistics Wizard allows users to automatically generate graphs based on the specified households and the selected countries  and years for various statistic types from a single window, without running EUROMOD systems.
