First Workshop of the ESCB Network of Microsimulation Modelling

The First Workshop of the ESCB Network of Microsimulation Modelling will be hosted by Banco de Portugal in Lisbon on 13 December 2024.

The Network was set up to strengthen the microsimulation capacity in European national central banks by offering peer support and fostering cross-country collaborations on research projects and policy analyses.

In this spirit, the Workshop seeks to showcase recent research using microsimulation techniques on topics especially relevant for central banks. These include, among others, the impact of inflation, monetary policy and fiscal policies on welfare, prices and public finances, including its distribution across agents.

Deadline for submission of abstract/paper: 5 November
Paper acceptance notification date: mid-November
