The Stata Connector to EUROMOD is a tool that allows users to interact with EUROMOD directly from Stata. It consists of pre-programmed Stata commands that enable users to run EUROMOD on their data that is held in the working memory in Stata, and return the results to Stata memory as well. To provide further support and guidance on using the Stata Connector to EUROMOD, a technical session will be held on Tuesday 5 December, 12:00-13:00 CET. During this session, the following features will be discussed:

  1. How to run EUROMOD from Stata
  2. Different options for running EUROMOD from Stata, including add-ons, extensions, and ITT
  3. Manipulating the input data using Stata
  4. Changing EUROMOD constants using Stata

A beta version of the Stata commands is available for download here, together with a brief user guide. In order to use the commands, you need to install a beta version of the EUROMOD software, available here (release notes here).

The Stata Connector is the first in a series of connectors that aim to facilitate the use of EUROMOD with other scientific programming languages. Releases for Matlab, Python, and R are planned in the near future.

No need to register, just connect using this link (you can also add it to your calendar).
