As in previous occasions, the JRC Fiscal Policy Modelling Workshop focusses on the use of economic modelling for fiscal policy analysis. It gathers leading researchers and policy makers from Europe and the US working on topics closely related to the JRC’s own research agenda in the fiscal policy area.
The workshop covers high quality and topical research on business taxation, pension analysis and tax-benefit systems for households. Specifically, the contributions will cover topics such as the impact of the global corporate minimum tax, strengthening labour force participation via pension designs and the distributional impacts of carbon taxes. Moreover, the contributions in each session will be linked to the ongoing policy work and debate. In each session there is also a presentation by a colleague from the JRC’s Fiscal Policy group on our own research.
