Job opening on modelling and labour economics at DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion

The Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion has recently published a new position for an Economic Analyst in the area of modelling and labour economics. Tasks include:

• analysing labour market trends and social developments, at both EU and Member State levels;
• assessing the potential impacts of policies and initiatives aiming at improving labour market participation and reducing inequality and poverty;
• conducting analytical work on employment and social policies, and contributing to the development of new policy initiatives in these fields; and
• providing policy advice on labour market reforms and social policies in selected Member States within the framework of the European Semester.
